We are living in a fast world today. We are too busy in our daily lives that we often forget to take care of our health hence, end up with long-term illness and other challenges. STEP 1- It is better to pass the 12 th-grade in any subject, however, science with biology is a good choice.

STEP 2- Do Bachelor Degree: B.Sc in Nutrition, B.Sc in Home Science, and other subjects to pursue your degree in order to become a

B.Sc/ BA Nutrition: It is a three-year course which majors on various issues including the basics of nutrition, human physiology, food biotechnology, weight-loss methods, health, human physiology, etc. The degree is focused on the general health and the ability to efficiently work in such fields as maternity and child nutrition, the work with the population, etc. They will demonstrate food preservation methods, baking, food and quality analysis, and so forth. At the end of the course, you will be asked to prepare diet plans and do weight-reduction plans independently.

B.Sc in Food Technology: It is a three-year course that majors in food safety. Food technology is the use of various food science dimensions in food choice, preservation, packaging and safe distribution of food. During the course, you are going to be taught the basics of food technology, principles of food science, nutrition, food processing and engineering, food preparation, etc. The course will also involve food quality testing and evaluation. The course will give you an understanding of the science of food and nutrition, among many other opportunities.

STEP 3- Enroll into Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition

  • Postgraduate qualifications take one year and include the principles of nutrition, public nutrition, public health nutrition, therapeutic nutrition, and institutional food management.
  • Most of these programs end with a 7-8 week internship in a medical institution mandatory.
  • Admission to PG Diploma programs is done on merits.
  • Assuming you want to be a Registered Dietician, you need just a PG Diploma.

STEP 4- Master of Science in Food and Nutrition

  • After graduation postgraduate degrees in nutrition and dietetics, including a Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics & Public Health Nutrition or a Master of degree in Food and Nutrition, are possible.
  • Earn your Master degree to have an upper hand in the labour market.
  • The degree provides you with both academic knowledge and experience in form of internships and research.

STEP 5- Complete an Internship

  • The process of becoming a dietician needs to include internships. You may do this once you graduate or when you are doing your degree course provided it is possible in your institution.
  • In order to receive a Registered Dietician license with the IDA, an individual has to undertake a 6-month internship and the Registered Dietician entrance test.

STEP 6- Go through Employer Training
